St. Pat's is just around the corner!

I've been looking for something fun
I could make for my little boy to take and share
with his preschool class.

So, I went to my folder of ideas.
My folder has pages torn out of magazines
(mostly Family Fun)
of things I thought, "I'd like to do that one day."

I made these about 3 years ago
with the 16 & 17 year old girls at my church.
They were fun, turned out great,
and are ADORABLE!

P.S. And really follow the direction to only fill them 1/2 full.
If you don't, they look like blobs instead of clovers.
We learned that the hard way :)

When I was a kid, if I forgot to wear green and was being threatened with a pinch, I would cheat and just tell everyone that because my eyes are green, I didn't have to wear it too!! Some times it worked and some times it didn't.

Happy Dental Health Month

When I was a teacher we celebrated dental health month.

Usually a dental hygienist would come in and show the kids the right way to brush.

However, one year we had a puppet show.

That was quite a year.

And I think nothing says dental health like a nice sugary cupcake.

Presidents Day

Yep.... That's a lot of cupcakes....

Over 5,600 cupcakes were used to make this thing. You can read more about it on the Smithsonian American Art Museum website. You can even watch a video of the artist, Zilly Rosen, getting busy putting this thing together.

Can you guess what they did after the exhibit?? They devoured it!

It's Ground Hog Day!!

It's a tradition for my husband and I to watch the Bill Murray movie Groundhog Day. Every February 2nd we tuck the kiddies in bed and have ourselves a little "Groundhog Party".

We pop in the movie and snuggle on the couch eating popcorn and treats. Usually it's just a bowl of ice cream or some cookies. But this year, I HAVE to make these.....
