BYU Cupcakes

Welp.. I did it! 

I've officially moved! 

Since I'm a Utahan now, I guess I'm going to have to start liking BYU football. It's like really super important around here to like BYU football. 

I'm not exactly sure how much I'm going to want my husband watching the BYU games as well as all the pro games he loves. He seriously buys that premium football package every year so he can watch all the games. I'd rather stab my eyes out with a fork or better yet... go in the other room and bake some cupcakes.

Mothers Day Cupcakes?

Why are you featuring Bowling Cupcakes for Mothers Day you ask????

Well my friends... I come from a long line of bowlers. 

My mother is a bowler and my grandmother is a bowler. Hence the bowling cupcakes.

 In fact, my Mom has the highest average in her league and my Grandma took gold in the senior olympics for bowling at 91 years of age. She bowled against the younger seniors because there wasn't an age group for 90 year olds for her to compete against. She was put up against the young 80 year olds and kicked all their bowling butts!

Today kicks off the start of National Cheerleading Week.

One of the sports that my husband and I like to watch during the Winter olympics is snowboarding. As I was sitting there watching the athletes I thought.... "Hey, I wonder if I could find some cute snowboarding cupcakes for the blog?"

Superbowl!!!

Aren't these little footballs cute?

cupcake chic is located in Springville, Utah. I'm heading out that way for Christmas. I think I'll stop by and pick up a yummy cupcake (or two) during my visit. I checked out their website, www.cupcakechicutah.com and I just can't decide which flavor I'd like. Chocolate Mint, Peanut Butter, Banana?? Good thing I have a 10 months to decide.

What would a Super Bowl party be without cupcakes?

My husband's family is really excited for the Super Bowl this year because the New Orleans Saints are playing. His parents live in New Orleans for 18 months and are pulling hard for the Saints to win.

I'm sure these awesome cupcakes by sugar-bliss gnome would definitely liven up our festivities.Those tiny footballs are fantastic!
