Wacky Wednesday

I have been craving hot dogs like crazy lately. I don't know why. I craved them all the time when I was pregnant with my son. No... I am not pregnant just hungry I guess. So I finally caved and headed to Sams Club the other day to buy a Hot Dog and Soda combo. It's only $1.50! Can't beat that! I had to stop myself at one even though I probably could have scarfed like 4 of them in one sitting. 

So how about some Hot Dog Cupcakes on this here Wacky Wednesday??

You Can Do It

I love to decorate cupcakes. I run a small home business baking and decorating cupcakes for friends and family but sometimes even I am intimidated by the cupcakes we feature. I mean... most of them are just amazingly cute and the details on them can be overwhelming. Especially for a girl like me who's just getting my feet wet in the cupcake decorating world. 

Every once and awhile I will run across a cupcake that is truly adorable only to find out that it was made simply by placing store bought ingredients on top to make it look like a masterpiece.

Take these adorable Birds Nest cupcakes.....

They are so cute and after reading The Felt Mouse  blog, I found out they are made with some super easy purchased ingredients (edible Easter grass and Mini eggs from Cadbury).

So guess what folks?.......You Can Do It!!!!
You could be the hit of your party with these adorable things. Everyone would think you have mad skillz.

There were a lot of bees buzzing around my back yard yesterday afternoon and it gave me the idea to find a cute bee cupcake to share with our readers. These things are so cute!!

So, I went to my folder of ideas.
My folder has pages torn out of magazines
(mostly Family Fun)
of things I thought, "I'd like to do that one day."

I made these about 3 years ago
with the 16 & 17 year old girls at my church.
They were fun, turned out great,
and are ADORABLE!
